As soon as the book "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" was published, Guan Yu's influence became more and more popular among the people. In the later stage, it was even mythologized. In addition to the influence of the people, the imperial courts of the past dynasties also conferred many titles on Guan Yu, which led to the question of thoroughly becoming the embodiment of "loyalty". So why is Guan Gong's sculpture the embodiment of loyalty?
Guan Yu has followed Liu Bei all his life since "Liu Guan and Zhang Taoyuan became sworn brothers". He is loyal, brave and loyal. After his death, Guan Yu was gradually deified, and was honored as the "Duke of Guan", also known as the "Duke of Beauty" by the people. Later, he was honored as the "Saint of Martial Arts", and was as famous as the "Saint of Literature" Confucius.
The novel "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms", which we are familiar with, has the color of "respecting Liu and belittling Cao", so "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" shows Guan Yu's loyalty and bravery, and respects Guan Yu as the head of the "Five Tiger Generals" in Shu.
In addition, in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms published by Mao Zonggang, a literary critic in the early Qing Dynasty, the color of "respecting Liu and belittling Cao" is more obvious.
Over time, Guan Yu's image of loyalty and bravery became deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. Therefore, businessmen believed that Guan Yu was the most loyal, so they put the image of Guan Yu in the store or home with the meaning of "harmony makes money".
